Your Host Sally
Sally
Hi, I’m Sally, your host and owner of Hideaway Cottage.
I’ve lovingly renovated the cottage during 2022 and now excited to be inviting people to stay for what I hope will be a great break.
Remember, with Hideaway Cottage you will have exclusive access to the entire townhouse and if all goes well, you won’t even see me. You can of course call me if you have any questions during your stay.
To help you with a little local knowledge, here are a few of my favourite things to do in Bewdley town centre.
My Favourite Things To Do
-
Morning Riverside Walk
I like to get up early and take a stroll along the banks of the River Severn. The river is always changing and is beautiful no matter the season.
-
Brunch at The Courtyard
After working up an appetite with a walk or exploring the local shops you can’t beat a Flat White and Full English breakfast at The Courtyard. In the summer there are tables outside for perfect riverside dining.
-
Local Ale in The Mug House
Bewdley is fortunate to be blessed with many excellent pubs and bars and The Mug House is one of my favourites. On the banks of the Severn, just a few minutes walk from the cottage you can enjoy great food and drink in a friendly relaxing atmosphere.
-
Bewdley Museum
There’s always something new and interesting happening at Bewdley Museum so I frequently pop in. It’s also free to visit so great for families.
-
Severn Valley Railway
We love a day trip on the Severn Valley Railway, spending time in the historic town of market town of Bridgnorth.
-
Chang Thai River
If you like Thai food then visit the Chang Thai River. The food is excellent and my favourite place for a red thai curry.
