This Georgian riverside town set is steeped in history. The town boasts a museum, a brewery and the beautiful Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Gardens with its pond and many sculptures.

For dining and drinking, there is a wide choice of restaurants, cafes, and pubs. You’ll also find many independent shops and boutiques.

For days out, West Midlands Safari Park, the Severn Valley Railway (with superb stops such as Bridgnorth and Arley Arboretum), Go Ape, and the Wyre Forest are all in the local vicinity.  A car is recommended if you want to take advantage of the Safari Park. Otherwise, you’ll find a local bus service and taxi cab services readily available in the town.

For keen walkers, Bewdley marks the beginning of the Worcestershire Way, a renowned walk stretching approximately 31 miles through glorious countryside all the way to Malvern.

You’ll also find golf courses, horse riding, and river canoeing within a short drive.
